On the eastern side of Lefkada, near the village of Vlychos, there is the beautiful, sheltered beach of Dessimi. It is located in a small cove to the east of Meganissi. The largest part of it is covered with sand and small pebbles and is easily accessible by car. The beach is relatively shallow, its waters have the well-known green-blue colour of the Ionian Sea, and is ideal for families with children. On the beach there are olive trees that offer natural shade for visitors, both sides of the bay are heavily wooded, and there is a lush green rock behind the beach.

Excellent Villa, probably in one of the best locations on the Island. Villa was clean and more than adequate for our 2week stay on the Island. Such a quiet, peaceful, relaxing location, with out of this world views. Nydri, less than 10mins away was ideal for so many places to eat and a walk in the evening. Plenty of places, beaches and tavernas nearby. Desimi beach only a short walk away. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday to Lefkada, Would love to return one day.

I stayed in Vila Votsalo beautiful home for a week with 4 of my girlfriends and it was great. Owner was lovely he was very helpful and accommodating and this house was perfect for us. We were about walking distance from the beach. It was nice being away from all the hustle and bustle. Would recommend a car hire. The house had all you needed and was very spacious and I would highly recommend this home to stay in.
